So I put in for a reneg on Rysheed to get me under HC, but our cap number remained the same as it was before, despite Rysheed’s salary going down. I have screenshots to prove this is a glitch, just don’t want to be penalized for HC during sim 1 when we’re in the clear.

Screenshot 1 is from CPU Pre, same roster, same cap number and you will note Rysheed’s cap hit was at $19,710,000.



Screenshot 2 is from preseason, after the reneg is input. Again you can see the same roster, and a clearly different cap hit on Rysheed (now $17,739,000) but that the team salary figure remains the same, despite a renegotiation that saves the team ~$2M and gets us under HC with room to spare
