hey GB lets go
1. You just finished season 1 of the AD era and no title, dissapointed?
I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed in not winning a title but we definitely did not live up to expectations. Whether tanking or competing I’ve yet to have anything close to a successful season which is frustrating. I tried to tank and ended up in the playoffs and tried to change up on the fly, and through what I thought were some pretty savvy trades ended up with a competitive team. Problem being the team hasn’t been as competitive as they should be on paper yet but I don’t think we are far off either.
2- What are your thoughts on this Free Agent class?
What a dumpster fire lol. This offseason in general seems pretty lack luster. The draft had some decent talent at the top but was easily the worst to date, and this FA is filled with ok role players who are bound to get overpaid due to lack of talent in the pool.
3- Who were your top 3 winners (TEAM) in this draft?
Nets - Although it was a weak draft it was pretty good for top 5 picks of which the Nets had 2, and I think they made good selections on both.
Suns- I like Harmon a lot, and Clarke looks solid too
Celtics - big Keshawn fan here, they are mostly a big winner to me as this draft kinda stunk and they walked away with a potential all star toward the end of the lotto
4- What can we expect from the Wiz in S-5?
I’m hoping for a little shake up around AD. That could mean moving Dipo for a different fit or somehow bringing in a 3rd dog. We finished as a 5 seed in a tough eastern conference last season and am looking to build on that.
5- How Long you been in Sim?
Too long man. I think I joined at some point in high school but tbh don’t even remember exactly when. Gotta be going on close to 10 years now.
6- Who is GB, what motivates him?
I’m just a dude from central Massachusetts. Got married to my high school sweet heart last year and bought a house together. I think I live a pretty simple life in general and that’s just the way I like it. Idk how to answer what motivates me, I guess I just enjoy life and take things a day at a time mostly.
7- Perfect Pizza, whats on it where we go?
Chicken bacon ranch always gets me from pretty much anywhere. Not a fan of chain places usually as the only thing I’d really complain about regarding pizza would be if it’s super greasy.
8- Best dish you've ever eaten? Where?
I honestly don’t even know my favorite I eat pretty good usually since my wife’s dad isn’t quite a chef but he’s damn good in the kitchen and we do dinner over there pretty often. Italian food and seafood are probably my two favorites so pick a number of dishes from those categories and I could fuck with it.
I don’t really have a favorite spot we mix it up quite a bit. Couple local spots we’ve been to a lot over the years but we are good about mixing it up when we go out. Gun to my head there is an Italian restaurant down the rode we’ve been to a million times where I always get a seafood platter which is basically stuffed fish with mashed potatoes and veggies with like a white cheesy sauce over it which is ridiculous.
9- Road trip to NYC which 3 GMs you want with you on the Car?
Godfather is a shoe in for entertainment purposes.
Ty is coming because literally every day something crazy happens in his life so that mixed with GF is excellent. And lastly donkey is coming and im bringing him to the titty bar so he can see his first pair since he was breast fed.
10- You can be anyone else current or past who and why?
I actually hate this question because I never know how to answer it. Easy answer is like any athlete ever or like Hugh Hefner or some shit. I think being a gm of like any pro sports team would be the coolest shit ever. Maybe that’s why I play a 20 year old virtual gm game.
