This season has already been announced as West’s Final Act and this would make that even more likely. Cutting back Delonte makes him much more likely to retire.

But more importantly, the Clips are a threat and could benefit by adding an upgrade in Sullinger next to Vesely up front.

Zubac is an interesting big that could become a Sullinger down the road. He fits the timeline with Lavine better and would open up cap for the Warriors to use this offseason.

I still think there is a gap here that would cost at least one future, if not two, but that’s up to negotiation skills.
