For $3.0M, rank the top 5 players in this upcoming draft and give your reasoning for each player.

1. Boogie - enters the league as a starting level C before any TCs
2. PG - Same reason as Boogie but slightly less pot and a less important position
3. Dario Saric - 18, high pot, could blow up in any single rating and it would work for him
4. Oladipo - 20, but more of a sure thing than a lot of the other guys here
5. Smarf - Best player in the actual nba, could be solid here as well. Future Buck for sure

1. Paul George - can immediately make an impact and should be a solid scorer.
2. DeMarcus Cousins - should be a dominant big if he can use some pot correctly.
3. Marcus Smart - teen with great starting defense, and gets the little added boost from donkey by being a Celtics player.
4. Tyreke Evans - 2nd best handles in the draft, can move to PG and let TC develop him there.
5. Dario Saric - a project but worth the risk for a team looking to tank for a few more seasons due to high pot and decent starting ratings.

1. Boogie — he’s got phenomenal starting ratings as a rookie center. Walks into most teams and starts at either PF/C right away. However, may have TO issues, as most versions of boogie does.

2. Saric — this draft is poopoo so I would swing for the fences here as he’s got great pot and is 18. Looking back, true stars tend to need to have high pot.

3. Paul George — great starting ratings, but at a position that’s loaded with talent. Lower ceiling than Saric. Fine player; but doubt he’s ever an all star.

4. Marcus Smart — another home run swing here. Likely starts when great d ratings and terrible 3 shooting. Could be a good reliable player… limited ceiling unless he boosts.

5. Oladipo — this class sucks lmao. Looks like the next best option and it isn’t saying much. May make more sense to swing for a highish pot teen than him. Tough draft to tank for.

Paul George - already really good in 3 different areas. One good TC and he's an All Star
Boogie- Same story as PG. Plug and play rook who will contribute big time.
Smart - Could use a good TC or 2, but odetty good starting attributes
Eric Bledsoe - Little bit in the old side for a rook, but B- in both scoring attributes, and a B- defense. Good TC makes him him a reliable starter.
Oladipo - Guard heavy draft IG. Good defender, unfortunately out of the pot boost range, but still one of the higher pots in the class.

PG13 Great start up ratings already a top player. Not bad pot. Couple good Tcs could be a superstar
Cousins also amazing start up and decent pot. Could be super elite.
Saric- teen. Decent start up. Could be really good
Marcus smart- should be really solid and has a shot to he an elite player.
Dipo should be solid. Not sure if he’ll be a star but I can def see him being solid

1. Demarcus Cousins - Already a solid defender and rebounder and should be a starter from day one. Could be a really good big in this league
2. Paul George - Could be an elite player in this league in a couple season. Already looks to be a really good two way player
3. Marcus Smart - Has two TCs to boost and is one of the perimeter defenders in the draft. Will see how he grows as a scorer and ball handler
4. Dario Saric - Be interesting to see how Saric can develop. Has solid ratings for a teen
5. Malcolm Brogdon - A Pot and could turn into a solid scorer and contributor. Handles look meh, so probably need to stay as a two guard

1. Paul George- Older and lower pot than a normal #1 pick, but his stats to start are awesome
2. Demarcus Cousins- Same goes for Boogie here, there's not a lot of good big men in the league, so I could see him go 1
3. Dario Saric- Decent starting stats and is 18 with A pot. He could definitely go higher, he's the high risk/high reward play here
4. Marcus Smart- 18 y/o with high B pot. Two chances to boost and pretty good starting stats
5. Victor Oladipo- Not a teen, but still 20 y/o and has good scoring and defense to start.

DMC - looks very solid and has huge upside
PG - got to love my Clips.. looks like a cross between Allen and PP
Brogdon- I like his base and pot a lot...Donk always makes him nice
Saric young with good base chance to boost is key
Oladipo- like Doug should be a bucket from the word go

Dario Saric - 18 high pot, well rounded base. Actually looks like he might snap if he's slotted as starting 3, 2nd string 4.
Arnett Moultrie - pot is king and as NC said this guy averaged 30/15 overseas. In a few seasons we won't even remember Dwight Howard.
DeMarcus Cousins - that base is crazy. He'd be the best big man on like 25 teams in the league. Still has respectable pot as well. One SLG and some coaching should make him a primo asset right off the rip.
Paul George - Similar situation as DMC. A bit more worried about George tho. Looks less polished with less pot.
Marcus Smart - celtic 18

1. Boogie - comes in as a starting caliber big. As long as he has a couple good TCs he should be a star
2. Dario - 18 w/ a solid base and high POT is a recipe for success, and he should be a nice + rebounder at SF
3. Paul George - His upside is a bit limited given that his POT is low-ish B and there are more elite wings than bigs in the league, but B/B/B starting ratings is nothing to scoff at
4. Marcus Smart - Elite defender off the bat w/ solid scoring ratings and two chances to boost. His floor is a defensive wing with okay offense, his ceiling is super high, especially if he boosts
5. Malcolm Brogdon - Tons of guys you can slot in at 5, but I like his scoring ratings to go with high POT

1. Boogie - he’s already good enough on paper to start in this league and produce at a high level due to the lack of quality at the center position. Couple good camps and he may become elite.

2. PG - another guy that is good enough to start in this league (especially on whatever team tanked to get #2). He may lack a huge upside if you go by scouted potential but a couple good camps and he can become a very talented wing player in this league. Probably not superstar talent though.

3. Dario - definitely more raw than the top two guys but very possibly could go 1 or 2 depending who owns the pick. Looks like he’s got the biggest upside of this draft. Teams live and die by drafting the youngest guys possible for boost potential so that may skyrocket his value. Could be a superstar or could be a bust ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

4. Eric Bledsoe - after the top 3, this could go anywhere. A lot of teams picking around here will go potential over polish so Bledsoe probably falls a couple picks but it looks like he can do a bit of everything and be productive to an extent right away.

5. Marcus Smart - smart will probably go 4 based on age and upside but we’ll see. Strong defense for an 18 year old. If he gets boosted he’ll be in line to become an elite shooting guard in this league.

Honorable mentions
  • Oladipo
  • Markieff
  • Mike James

1. Saric: teen with double boost potential and third highest potential. gamble, but one that can payoff for a franchise piece
2. PG: already starting with a starter level base with some potential. can contribute immediately and with some TC luck can be a star
3. DMC: the frontcourt version of PG. can be a starter from day 1 with some potential
4. Smart: 18 with at least a great defensive background
5. Grant: 18 y/o with potential.

Saric: Just think he’s got the best mega star chance.

Smart: I’d rather swing big every time. I feel like Smart is an awful pick if he doesn’t boost though.

Boogie: think he will be really solid, league impacting bigs are also sparse.

George: Wing value is low, pot is bleh. Smell a Danny Granger scenario.

I’d probably roll the dice on Brogdon over Oladipo but it’s close. People who listed grant are nuts
