It depends on the mental makeup of the hoop clones. If they’re all willing to risk life and limb and embrace a true fight to the death the number is so much lower than everyone’s thinking, but if they’re each share his stream of consciousness where he’s going to want to preserve his life then the number is exorbitant. So we’ll use a sensitivity analysis approach here.
Pessimistic outcome:
This is the scenario with a shared stream of consciousness where all of the hoops are cautious and apprehensive, they don’t want to engage but sheer volume eventually wins out once preservation kicks in with their fight or flight response triggered
225
Average / Expected / Most Likely:
We’re just going to call this a simple split of both the pessimistic and the optimistic outcome where some of the Hoop’s are crazy and down for chaos, some are skittish and scared, and some are neutral, it’s a blend
115
Optimistic:
In this scenario all of the hoops are reckless and they’re down for the cause. They’re actively taking the fight to the gorilla and risking life and limb. They’ve accepted that blood will be shed and sacrifices will have to be made for the greater good of the group.
