Might not be the *best* but superman is by far my favorite movie. I used to love reading the DC comics when I was a kid, so a fully fledged DCU would be a dream come true for me. David Corenswet was born to play Superman!

*Best* movie I've seen this year is probably Sinners, though

I can’t even think of any new notable movies I’ve seen this year. Out of movies that came out this year Weapons was solid although overhyped imo, Superman was good.

Friendship. Thought it was awesome, never seen anything quite like it. I like A24 and I like Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd. I didn’t really understand what was happening or coming next for a good chunk of the movie which was partially why it was so original and unique but the undertone of dark comedy was cool too. Wouldn’t be for everyone but my wife and I liked it. I did see Sinners but I thought it was bad.
