3 of the greatest shooters ever at PG, SG, SF with 2 of the most dominant defensive PF’s and C’s in the history of the game. You won’t out shoot us, you won’t score on us in the paint. A dream FBB team.

Modern rules means I want a modern center, and nobody is better in this role than Anthony Davis ($4)
I'm taking KD ($6) at PF to form a ridiculous frontcourt who can defend against classic/antique stars and score a TON

For the rest of the team I need shooting and defense, plus a ball handler to feed KD/AD, and they all have to be cheap lol

Prime KJ ($1) is one of the best passers in NBA history so I'm fine with that
Prime Ron Artest ($1) is one of the best defenders in NBA history so get him in as well

Then I have to take an antique player so Sam Jones ($3) will be perfect as a top roleplayer

PG / 1988-89 Kevin Johnson (20.4pts, .505 FG%, 12.2asts, All-NBA 2nd Team)
SG / 1964-65 Sam Jones (25.9pts, .452 FG%, All-NBA 2nd Team)
SF / 2003-04 Ron Artest (18.3pts, 2.1stls, All-NBA 3rd Team, DPoY)
PF / 2013-14 Kevin Durant (32.0pts, .503 FG%, .391 3P%, 7.4rbds, 5.5asts, MVP)
C / 2017-18 Anthony Davis (28.1pts, .534 FG%, 11.1rbds, 2.6blks, All-NBA 1st Team, All-Defensive 1st Team)

Dikembe Mutombo $1
George McGinnis $1
Paul George $4
Michael Jordan $7
Derrick Rose $1

This lineup is much more offensively potent with MJ, PG13, and Rose all being offensive powerhouses. MJ and PG13 on the wing would be nasty af both offensively and defensively.

OR

Dikembe Mutombo $1
George McGinnis $1
Metta World Peace $1
Michael Jordan $7
Jason Kidd $5

I actually like this one a lot defensively. You have 3 former DPOTYs (Artest, MJ, Mutombo) plus Kidd who was a 9x all-defensive player. MJ would be the focal point on offense but Kidd, Artest, and McGinnis are all capable of stepping up offensively.

C: Wilt
PF: CWebb
SF: Pippen
SG: Klay
PG: Rose

versatility at each position, needed Klay in there for the shooting. Rose's peak was better than all the $1 PGs and prob all of the $2 ones as well. Scottie and Klay lock up the wings. CWebb gives me a versatile big that we can run n gun with, and Wilt is Wilt.

$2 Arvydas Sabonis
$3 Draymond Green
$1 Paul Arizin
$7 Michael Jordan
$2 Kyle Lowry

I wanted to try a Jordan one and I think this lineup complements him the most without getting in the way.

Playmaking of Arvydas and Green is ridiculous. Lowry is too talented to be 3&D only, but that's all this team needs to win. Arizin is my only questionable fit but he feels nice as a second option. He played 10 years, he was an All-Star all 10 times, he led the league in scoring twice and leading the league in FG% one year has me believing his jumper is at least dewing if it's not wet.

you picked 3 guys from the classic era, you can only take 2 per era, also this is very similar to mine

Good catch. Most people did this with the modern era lmao. I really wanted to keep McHale/Arvydas to be different and I love both of their games ... Guess I'll sub them out and go with Dikembe and Walton up front. Not quite the level of passing that I had, but we're better defensively

Great minds think alike tho on the 1-3 tho, the idea of that trio is so sick

Kyle Lowry - $2
Gary Payton -$2
Elgin Baylor - $5
Charles Barkley -$5
Amar'e Stoudemire - $1

Amar'e, Payton, Lowry felt like steals at those prices. Baylor feels like one of the few guys who's game could transition to today's game from the Antiqe era, Barkley won an MVP vs MJ.
