🏆 2017–18 NBA Finals — Game 4 Press Release
Presented by YouTube TV

Final:
Jazz 131, Heat 114
Series: Heat lead 3–1
Location: @ Miami

🚨🔥 THE CHAMPS ARE NOT DEAD YET. NOT EVEN CLOSE. 🔥🚨

Facing elimination, the defending champion Utah Jazz punched back in a BIG way, storming into Miami and dropping 131 points in a season-saving Game 4 victory to keep this Finals alive.

Terry Rozier was sensational again, pouring in 35 points and controlling the offense all night, while Klay Thompson delivered 28 points on elite efficiency. Utah shot over 53% from the field and 46% from three, finally looking like the spacing, execution machine that won them last year’s title.

Without injured big man Timofey Mozgov, Utah leaned into speed, shooting, and ball movement — and it WORKED. The Jazz offense overwhelmed Miami’s defense in the second half, dropping 79 points after halftime to flip the entire game.

Miami got strong production from Donald Sloan (24 points, 16 assists) and Michael Beasley (24 points, 13 rebounds), but the Heat simply couldn’t match Utah’s shot-making surge late.

The series now shifts to Game 5 in Miami, where the Heat will have another chance to close out — but make no mistake, Utah just reminded everyone why they are the defending champs.

🔥 Player of the Game: Terry Rozier — 35 PTS, 8 AST

🎙 Stephen A Final Word
Let me say this loud for the people in the back… 😤
Utah might be down… but champions don’t go quietly.
And if Miami lets this slip to Game 6? Pressure shifts FAST. 🔥
Same nuts on the table

🏆🔥 2017–18 NBA Finals — Game 5 Press Release
Presented by YouTube TV

Final:
Heat 119, Jazz 110
Series: Heat win series 4–1
Location: @ Miami

🏆🔥 THE MIAMI HEAT ARE YOUR 2017–18 NBA CHAMPIONS. 🔥🏆

And ladies and gentlemen… the defending champs have been dethroned.

The Miami Heat closed out the Finals in Game 5 behind elite balance, clutch shot-making, and the steady leadership of league MVP Donald Sloan, defeating the Utah Jazz 119–110 to capture the title.

Utah got a legendary effort from Terry Rozier — 46 points and 8 threes — throwing everything he had at elimination. But Miami answered with total team execution. Five Heat players scored 18+ points, led by Michael Beasley (23 points, 12 rebounds), James Harden (23 points on 8-of-12 shooting), and a hyper-efficient Dion Waiters (18 points on 8-of-10 shooting).

Donald Sloan delivered the championship performance Miami needed — 18 points and 16 assists, controlling tempo and making every possession matter late.

Even shooting 55% from three, Utah couldn’t overcome Miami’s depth, physicality, and rebounding presence — especially without injured big man Timofey Mozgov anchoring the paint.

The Heat dominated the fourth quarter 35–22, slamming the door shut on Utah’s repeat hopes.

🔥 Player of the Game: Donald Sloan — 18 PTS, 16 AST

🎙 Stephen A Final Word
Let me be VERY clear… 😤
The Miami Heat didn’t just win this series…
They TOOK the crown from the defending champs… and made it look inevitable by the end. 🔥🏆

This was balance.
This was toughness.
This was championship basketball.

Two great teams. Really three teams all year were super good (Heat, Jazz, and Raps).

Good series. Miami had truly disgusting metrics all year not surprised they got it done.

Their oPPP, oTS%, and Defensive Rating were just as good as I've seen in a while though. Not a slight on your team or anyone elses.

You were 3rd in Defensive Rating and the gap between you and them were the gap from 3 to 21 on this BSL Stats page I'm looking at.

Just don't get how they were that good

Wow really must be all quickness then not like his steals are crazy
Maybe decent post, drive def, strength, blocks. Have seen PGs with A defense with nothing exceptional but nothing too low either.

3 retired players is like really low right? I am used to seeing like 20 always. :ROFLMAO: Generally speaking.
