Since we've had a couple of GMs join the league recently that are fairly new or brand new to FBB, I wanted to collect a few threads that others have provided in the past that lend knowledge of the capabilities, for better or worse, of FBB.
Just to be clear, FBB stands for Fast Break Basketball, which is the program that the league is simulated on.
Here's some interesting pieces that are worth a read:
- Draft Truths and the Teen Dilemma by Josh Ebbs
- FBB Teen Boosting Statistics by Brooks
- Teen TC Skill Development (Preliminary Results) by Brooks
- Player Regression Data by Frank Ebbs
- Donkey and his Handles by Josh Ebbs
Let me know if anyone sees anything else that should be added here.

Teen TC Skill Development (Preliminary Results)
These results should be considered preliminary and more tests needs to be completed in order to verify any of my claims. These results were extracted from my teen boosting studies and have led me to some interesting hypotheses. Most of these players are PGs, but I found that there is no...

Player Regression Data
I was inspired by Hooper to test and see if players age had any impact on their overall regression, compared to their Potential. Donkey was kind enough to supply his player database from our previous iteration, so thank you Donkey as this would not have been possible. I am going to break down my...

Donkey and his Handles
Fear. The word is fear. You have the top pick in the draft, there are 3-5 truly great looking prospects in the class but you know one of them boys is a grenade with 10 or fewer handles. Are handles that low a death sentence? How much can they really improve year-to-year? What's an outlier bump...
