Identical to https://fantasysportsdaily.net/forums/threads/bsl-redraft.6489/, but a few seasons later

7 GMs participated in a ReDraft of the BSL Sim League with the goal of the exercise being to create the best 12 man roster possible, to compete for the title, this year, and this year only, while also staying under the hard cap of $143,320,000. Participation in this exercise is how you will claim cash for sim 5. You get $5M if you participate and answer the questions below. If you do not participate you can't claim cash for sim 5. In order to claim you must answer the following 6 questions. Failure to do so results in no cash being claimed, and blatant copying of another person's answers disqualifies you from claiming cash.

The GMs who participated are:

1. Rank the teams 1 - 7 in terms of likelihood of winning a title this year. I repeat, this year. The future does not matter.

2135476

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

Anthony Edwards. Top 10 talent

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.

Andrew Bynum. Not even Top 30 in the league.

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?

Isaac Okoro. Great assist to TO ratio. 19-5-4 in a Very Slow offense.

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?

Nothing surprised me. FBB loves PGs. It only makes sense that PGs are top picks.

6. Which 7 GMs do you think participated, and who do you think was responsible for each team?

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

Cam Johnson lol. He’s a stud. 20+ ppg with a cheap ass contract.
3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.
Buddy Heild or Andrew Bynum. Better options than buddy available. Bynum isn’t even that good lol… not sure why he was selected so early.
4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?
This is tough. I don’t want to steal an above answer, but I think it has to be Cory Jospeh. He’s a really good PG, and definitely worth a bench slot if you can make the money work. I’ll keep thinking on this.
5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?
Honestly, PP was selected WAY too early to simply be a backup PG imo. His value would be as a starting PG on a budget contract. Also - Doug McDermott is not that good and I have no idea why team 6 is relying on him to be starting at SF. Killed them imo. Also KAT should have gone #1
6. Which 7 GMs do you think participated, and who do you think was responsible for each team? I’ll update soon.

3-1-2-7-5-4-6

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

Robert Williams. One of the top blockers in the league, on a rookie contract, and gets enough points and rebound to fit into a starting lineup. He should've gone much earlier than round 5.

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.

Andrew Bynum. I understand the small contract point of view, but he likely would've been available later in the draft.

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?

Tyus Jones although I understand the reasoning being contract related. He's top 10 in points and assists and has a great assist to turnover ratio.

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?

The whole top 10 of league leaders in blocks were all selected. I believe this was the only category where the whole top 10 were selected.

Not going to answer this one since I participated and think I have the best team

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

KAT at 4. Curry at 1 is fine, Kemba at 2 we might be reaching, but that's still probably fine. Kyrie over KAT is NOT the wave. Getting KAT that late is broken.

Also Horford might win DPOY so getting him super late was a steal

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.

Aside from Kyrie at 3 which I already mentioned and Bynum who everyone picked, I'll go with Payton Pritchard in round 4. Salary is fine but I just don't think he's that great and he is still on above a rookie contract salary. Just not great value

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?

KCP is probably the best player who didn't get picked. Idk. It's tough because you have to weigh the fact you could really only have 3 max guys

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?

The wings in this league are so bad. Couple teams are throwing shit at the wall at the SF slot

6. Which 7 GMs do you think participated, and who do you think was responsible for each team?

Won't answer since I participated

1. Rank the teams 1 - 7 in terms of likelihood of winning a title this year. I repeat, this year. The future does not matter.
I like team 3 for having a good balance in Kyrie, Jabari and Al Jefferson but I like team 4. KAT and AD will dominate any front court along with Booker and Beasley for the 2,3 position. throw in any PG and you'll have a competitive team. I like both Trent + Malchi.

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.
- Rose round 6 is a surprisingly late pick. I honestly think if team 4 picked Rose as their PG, that would solidify their title shot

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.
- Round 3 Nikola Jokic. I his ratings and name make him look good but I was never high on Jokic. I thought he was over overvalued and I've been thinking he needs a good TC to break him through for which he never seems to have gotten. If his name was different, he's a 15/10/1.4 big and wouldn't be a max player.

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?
- Cristiano Felicio for such a cheap contract provides you with good enough defense while offering amazing offensive punch.

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?
- obvious trend was a lot of teams picking dominant PG first as FBB is a PG game. Team 4 was surprising as they went with the big men route and I love that team for it

2, 7, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.
Al Jefferson, still one of the better bigs got snagged on a minimum leaving lots of cap open

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.
I feel like Chris Gradnigo went too soon

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?
Cory Joseph. A top point guard in the league imo and he doesn’t make an insane amount
5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?
Dominant bigs and PGs went first before wings. Just shows how we value players here

4, 7, 2, 5, 1, 3, 6.

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

Horford round 8 was a crazy steal. Might still be a top-10 big for impacting winning

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.

thought steven Adams went too high with better bogs

4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?

I want to say Trae Young. Way below a max contract and better than a lot of guards picked.

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?
6. Which 7 GMs do you think participated, and who do you think was responsible for each team?

everyone skipping KAT blew my mind. PG is so deep. KAT is best player on the file with ease to me given positional scarcity.

3,1,7,5,6,4,2

2. Which was the best pick of the draft? Consider context.

Cam Johnson. Rookie deal and 20ppg. Derrick rose also was a good value pick.

3. Which was the worst pick of the draft? Consider context.

Maybe Steven Adams. Some bigs went higher than I expect but his contract is kinda gross.
4. Who was the biggest snub that was not selected?

Cory Joseph. Assume by the time people remembered him they had no cap space left.

5. What stuck out most to you? Were there any trends that you noticed? Did anything surprise you?

KAT going as late as he did in the first was shocking, but guards are the path to the promised land.
