For $3.0M, if you were to takeover the terrible Charlotte Hornets of this sim league, what are the first three things you would do and why?

1- murder the former gm
2- Trade for my picks back
3- tank and actually pick good players instead of what Nate did

1) Raise Nate’s lawnmower to the rafters
2) Sell Seth Towns for picks
3) Trade said picks for the Hornets’ picks back

1) Sell off Seth Towns for established star to compete or spec+picks for rebuild
2) trade for his picks back
3) trade the rest of his picks to Jazz

1. Cry
2. Entirely gut the team for assets. Towns would probably fetch the most in return
3. Try to get my picks back (or as many as I can) with the acquired assets

1. Decline better trade offers from Cloud
2. Make Towns more of a meme than he already is
3. Wonder what Nate is gonna do with his free time since his wife doesn't want to do anything with him

1. Trade Jaiteh to for a pick or swap this year
2. Pray Longley and Towns have a great TC next year
3. Sign a MLE fast outside shot chucker PG and hope he can guide the team to an 8 seed

1) Get a gun
2) Load the gun
3) Shoot myself in the head

Actual answer: 1) Take a cheap shot or 2 at Nate because he likes it 2) Trade everything for picks because I like rebuilding and hate that roster 3) Learn patience since it will take me awhile to fix that dumpster fire

1. Trade Seth Towns for a good all star caliber aging player who is not cancer (this is his value).
2. Ride this out until there are no more owed picks.
3. Tank and rebuild.

1. Get rid of fracking in North Carolina
2. Make sure the former GM stays unemployed for life
3. Ask Nate's wife if she wants to be with a winner

1. Keep Towns because he’s one of the best players in the league.
2. Trade off everyone else for picks, hopefully get my own back.
3. Tank hard for the next 20 seasons and surround Towns with undrafted rookies for the rest of his career

1. Id make everyone available, try and re-tool and shuffle the pieces up to get younger guys that can keep my future somewhat bright while also being semi-competitive because all of their picks are gone for quite some time
2. Work the waiver wire, LFA and FA market hard. The depth is pretty bad, you can definitely upgrade that second unit and improve your record by at least a few games by just doing that alone, the team needs talent however you can get it. They really need more guard and wing depth
3. Work the DC. That team should not being playing balanced. Should be running outside, and the press should be at always or often, Trent and Towns should be a menacing duo with lots of pressure and they’re running a sometimes scheme right now. Haas and Blackshear will still score in an outside scheme.
