Dirk, Luka, Blackman, and Kidd

All stars of the decades they played in and faces of the franchise for years to come. It’s a bit early to list Luka but great things are ahead. Blackman helped put the franchise on the map in the 80’s. So important to the Mavs.

Tiny Archibald - Never saw him play other than highlights but gotta give him credit. Made us relevant

Mitch Richmond - One of the best Shooting guards to play the game.

Chris Webber - Couple of plays away from reaching the Finals, if he didn't get Injured against Dallas there's a good chance that team makes the finals. Dude still has a long lasting impact on Sac

Tyreke was close for his great start but unfortunately injuries derailed his career. I'd put Boogie up here for now but the lack of success hurts. Either way one of the most talented and dominant big man in his prime who could shoot over the top or drive to the basket. Versatile and an underrated passer at times. Boogie is a legend throughout Sacramento. Incredibly charitable and truly cared for Sacramento. Too bad we had monkey ass ownership

Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Phil Jackson

6 rings for MJ, Scottie and Phil. Dennis was the linchpin in the final 3. Utter domination of the 90’s. Pretty self-explanatory. Derrick Rose I wish could’ve been on here, same with Jimmy Butler, but ultimately didn’t do enough.

Larry Bird - I mean this dude is a top 10 talent of all-time. Nothing to really note here
Bill Russell - Dude won 11 championships in 13 seasons. Would be high not to include him on the list
John Havlicek - Never had the opportunity to watch him but he could score with the best of them
Red Auerbach - Dude was a winning. Understood he had Russell but he is one of the greatest coaches of all time regardless of sports...
If we are just doing players, i would put probably put Kevin McHale or Dave Cowens

KG - This is obvious, he is an ATG and the only one wolves have ever really had
Towns - He is young but ya this is the wolves we are talking about
Klove - Again this would seem ridiculous almost anywhere else but a couple insane years from Klove happens to make the list
Flip Saunders - Well at this point we get to Wally/Cassell types so might as well go execs. Before passing away he put is in a great spot pre Thibs era and was a solid coach when KG was here. RIP

Bill Russell - The greatest winner of all time, and one of the best to ever play the game. This man did not get the respect he deserved when he played and that’s a damn shame.
Larry Bird - Pretty easy one here, he is one of the greats. His rivalry with Magic helped the entire game of basketball tremendously. Nobody worked harder than Larry.
Paul Pierce - You love to hate him, but he is the face of 2000s Celtics basketball. He could’ve easily left too, he stayed with a team and was loyal when they never put the pieces around him until late in his career.
Jayson Tatum - This is very premature but he’s on pace to be the face of the Celtics for years and years to come. We’ll see how it plays out but his place in Celtics history is in the very early stages.

I wanted to pick players who really defined each era of Celtics basketball. A number of people could actually be in that fourth spot: John Havlicek, Dave Cowens, Kevin Garnett, Red Auerbach and many others.

Kyle Lowry - the GOAT raptor and it isn't close.

Masai Ujri - once he came in it completely changed the culture of our mediocre franchise

Kawhi Leonard - Helped the raptors get over the hump and get our first ship

Demar Derozan - was one of the first stars to actually want to reup with the raptors, was part of the new age success of the raptors, always happy where he got us to from where we were.

Vince Carter shouldn't get on, any player who forces their way out shouldn't get put with the people who wanted to be here. Kawhi never asked to come here but gave us 100% and at least a shot at keeping him which is why I kept him on.

Patrick Ewing - This is pretty obvious as one of the 4 on this list. Sure he never won a ring, but the Knicks were a fun competitive team to watch the entire time he played, and haven't been since

Walt "Clyde" Frazier - He co-led the Knicks to 2 titles and is still a Knicks icon

Willis Reed - Co-led the Knicks to those 2 titles along with Frazier and banged with Wilt in the paint

Earl "The Pearl" Monroe - You could make a strong case for Dave DeBusschere or Bernard King here, but I'll give Earl the edge for being part of the Knicks 1973 champ roster

Being a Knicks fan born in the 90s sucks, I didn't watch any of these guys. The best Knicks I've ever watched play are Carmelo and Allen Houston

GS WARRIORS (no Wilt):

Steph Curry -- don't even needa say why, he's clearly the best Warrior of all-time
Rick Barry -- only other superstar who led a Warriors team to a championship
Kevin Durant -- only here 3 years, but you could argue the most talented Warrior ever
Chris Mullin -- part of the Dream Team, was there for most of the 80's/90's
Baron Davis -- biased cus he was the first star I watched on the Warriors growing up, and when healthy, was a fuckin' monster

Honorable Mention: Klay, Dray, Monta

Russell - obvious
Bird - also obvious
Pierce - represents the modern day celtics. Lots of other players like Cousy / hondo / Parrish etc could be talked into here but I choice pierce cuz of his meaning to me
Auerbach - one of the most famous figures in basketball period.

Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Shaq

hard to leave Jerry west off this list but these four all brought 3+ championships to the organization. Magic/Kareem were the heart of showtime. Kobe/Shaq, well I think it’s obvious. Both pairs were two of the greatest player pairings of all time.

Paul Pierce - reason why I got into basketball and started liking Celtics. haters will hate, but he was still nonetheless a great finisher
Rondo - assist artist who will get under the skin of other teams as well as yours
Avery Bradley - love his style of play, great defender. can't forget when he blocked D.Wade
Reggie Lewis - unfortunate circumstance that led to the Celtics losing a player who could have been one of the Celtics greats

LeBron / Kyrie / Mark Price / Brad Daugherty

LeBron is maybe the most obvious pick ever. Kyrie made his mark here during the title runs and hitting one of the biggest shots in NBA history. It's a crime that his number wasn't retired, even with the way that things shook out. I hope that they rectify that moving forward. Mark Price is maybe one of the most forgotten players of his era. Dude was a monster and those 90's Cavs teams were awesome -- they just ran up against one of the best players to ever pick up a basketball. Daugherty had a shorter NBA career, but he was a stat sheet stuffer and former All-NBA player. He owned several team records before LeBron steamrolled through.

Hard to leave off Nash but the other guys just gave a lot more years/time. Luka will be there but not yet.

1) Kyle Lowry - Been here longer than anyone and led the team to success pretty much the whole way, and a ship. This one is obvious.

2) Masai Ujiri - The architect and mastermind behind one of the most consistently competitive teams in the modern NBA. We will never have another GM like him.

3) Vince Carter - I disagree with Frank here primarily because Vince inspired an entire generation of young Canadian ballers and it clearly shows with how many good Canadian players there are now. If you ask any young Canadian player, almost all of them will say Vince was the one who they looked up to. Whether you agree or disagree with the way he went out, you cant argue that he didnt had a massive impact on Canadian basketball.

4) Kawhi Leonard - The greatest single season in team history and the bringer of ships. Raptors fans will be forever grateful.

DeMar doesnt get on because I feel the others are more deserving. Him wanting to be here is not a reason to put him on the list of greatest Raptors imo. Toronto fans really need to get away from that mentality.

It feels like there is an age gap where you have Vince truthers vs Demar truthers

Absolutely. Although there are still a lot of people my age who still feel burned by the way he left and I totally get that. I just think his impact was massive and that gets him on the list for me.
