Welcome to the first iteration of my new series "Making The Grade". I've created a fairly simple matrix where I align my personal big board, with the computer's big board, and I create an adjusted draft ranking for each prospect (My ranking + computer ranking) / 2). I then compare where the player was actually drafted vs where the adjusted ranking places the player, and I assign a draft grade based off of relative value, IE was this a reach, was this a steal, or was this proper value. The yellow cells indicate that a particular player was NOT ranked in the computers top 58 players, or, in other words, the computer projected this player as undrafted, so in order to make the formula work, I assigned a constant value of 59, which is to assume that player would've been the next player drafted had the list continued on to a 3rd round. Obviously this is the first go around at this, so there will likely be tweaks and additions moving forward, but I wanted to keep it fairly digestible to begin with. I feel it will be interesting to look back on these in the future to see how accurate they are and who's more trustworthy between myself and the CPU. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy.

435
