For 3m: You are David Griffin (irl). It has been brought to your attention that you are mandated to trade Zion Williamson. What is the "worst" package that you would take for him?

Things to keep in mind:
- He has not publicly requested a trade
- We are armed with the current reports that he now weighs 330lbs and he will be out for the foreseeable future with pain in his foot
- You are assured that you're given stability because internally the organization realizes that the Zion experiment is not worth the long-term risk and he has quietly been toxic within the locker-room.

No really terrible/outlandish ones that are memes. If we get some good ones we can potentially put them to a vote on who has the best/most creative move (TBD)

worst I can do is one first. Multiple firsts would be good. New York would be good for him. He would be bullied enough to lose weight. Bullying in NoLA not working because he does not want to be there.

Absolute “worst” I take for him. You’re not getting your next superstar, but 3 nice pieces who fit next to Graham, Jonas, and Ingram. Probably makes you a fringe playoff team for the next few years and saves your job. 2023 draft looks fun, and so does the 2027 draft. You sell the Hawks on the star power of Zion keeping Trae happy. Hawks think they can help Zion stay in shape and can do well in FA getting other pieces to replace the ones they lost.

Significantly improve your defense and floor spacing with Hunter and Onyeka, and then bank on Reddish breaking out and being the robin to Ingram’s batman. I actually like this a lot for both sides. New Orleans looks significantly more balanced with fewer holes now and Atlanta creates an elite in and out combo that’s as exciting as it get if you can get Zion to buy in and get healthy

wanted to come up with a new team, get some future draft capital and take a shot on a couple young guys as well.

He's 21 and could still be an ultra superstar. The Pelicans have plenty of young pieces anyways so in a worst case scenario where you do trade him you need to get back a young piece with star potential. It's no secret he wanted to be a Knick around the draft. Make a swap with the Knicks and get R.J. Barrett back. Zion has a higher ceiling and is better when he's actually on the court, but Barrett still has star potential and can help the Pelicans now. Also put Quickley in this because a one for one isn't realistic. Probably picks in the Knicks side too.

I really wanted to do something out of left field and put him in Indiana or something like that (with the assumption that Griff would be in job-saving mode and looking for more win-now pieces instead of rebuilding pieces). I think it would be more realistic to go with an ATL based deal around Okongwu + Reddish + Hunter + picks tho
