I spent two hours playing with my old scoring formula, adjusted a fair bit, decided how to penalize usage and came up with the following.

There are 30 players charted here, I applied my formula on the top 100 players at PG/SG/SF for scoring. Graphed the top 20 and 10 other names I thought were interesting.

There's a number of metrics in play but to summarize without giving away specifics.

The x-axis is my guestimation at ranking the best offensive options in the game out on the perimeter. (Things that went into it include; quickness, inside scoring, jumpshot, 3PT, jumping, strength, handling and passing. All are tweaked at various rates to try and better reflect what FBB likes.)

The y-axis is charting potential volume if maximized and is adjusted to not inflate guys playing point guard. Aside from the positional adjustment, it factors in quickness, inside scoring, jumpshot, 3PT, jumping, strength, and handling at different levels.

The size of the bubbles is a combination of quickness, handles, stength and inside scoring, and it's attempting to show how likely a player is to score regardless of settings and focus but I concede I couldn't get this one quite right and I had spent over two hours and decided to call it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy staring at this for a few minutes.
