1- How long have you been doing Sim?
I took over my first team, the Milwaukee Bucks, on Sportzin in 2011. Been doing it ever since. This was the team I had to start with:
This was the team I ended with:
2- How do you feel your team is set up for this year? Future?
I like where I'm at right now. Paolo Banchero is actually a big surprise for me, I was looking to move him as soon as I got him because I wasn't that high on him, and he ended up making me a lot better of a team then I wanted to be. I think I have a big war chest of assets down the road and the future is bright in Toronto. Next year will be interesting, however, as I don't have my pick yet.
3- If you can add an under the radar type player who is it and why?
I'm not going to give away free scouting because I know people like you Henry, will eat it up. I actually really like Evan Mobley on the Wizards though, that was a draft-day steal.
4- Your early prediction for Finals?
It's clearly going to be the Bucks and Timberwolves. If you can't see that, then something is wrong with you.
5- Who is your 1st 1/2 MVP? GMOTY? and ROY?
Cole Anthony, he's the best player in the league, he deserves the MVP. The GMOTY I could give it to Cloud, but this is a Jordan type situation where you don't want to give it to the same people every year, therefore I think Username did a fantastic job with the Bucks. I'll hype Banchero up a bit and give him ROY.
Lets get to know you
6- Who are you and what do you do?
Ya'll know who I am. I'm a recent graduate, I've worked in the UMass Lowell athletic department for the past four years. Now I'm actively looking for a job that's relevant to my degree.
7- How is the Job search going? Any preference?
My preference would be the ESPN internship because even though ESPN has gone downhill in recent years, it's still the worldwide leader in sports. However next week (7/31) I'm going to New York for the third (and last) phase in the interview process for a hedge fund and that's probably my most likely landing spot right now.
8- Favorite Team/s and Sport/s?
All Boston, I'll never waver from that. How can you be born into the New England area and not be a fan of all the Boston teams? They hate us because they ain't us. I relish in everyone hating us, as some of you know.
9- Favorite go to restaurant on a night out? What is your go to dish there?
If I'm considering affordability and quality honestly I enjoy like a simple Outback Steakhouse with a NY Strip steak. If money isn't an object, in my area we had a, place which recently closed, called The Hofbrauhaus and it was amazing German food. Recently on my Montreal spring break my friends and I tried out a place called Mezcaleros and it was amazing, it was Mexican food but it was a one owner who ran the bar and served guests and one cook operation and everything about it was great.
10- Road trip to NYC what GM's you want along for the ride?
I think I'd go with Beats because he's got to be the most well-liked person in this league, Air because he's an easy person to get along with and he's my guy, I'll return the favor and bring GB because he said he'll bring me to a strip club and then incase it's a small car I'll take Jon because he's small and can squeeze into a middle seat if need be.
