Sitting down with legendary Knicks GM and here we go
1- Are you happy with where your team is here in S-4? What would you have done different? Any regrets or Moves you would like to take back?
I wouldn't say I am happy with where the team is overall. Kind of in an awkward limbo. Wasn't quite good enough to compete but missing a future first in 2024 stopping me from going into full tank mode. However, I am happy with most of the moves I've made so far. If I had to do it over again I would of tanked really hard the first year to try and steal RJ. I have learnt lots and seen what a semi-competitive team looks like. Wish I gave the JJJ Joker frontcourt some more time and see where it could of gone.
2- We have had 3 different teams win the ship in 3 different seasons, will it be 4 in S-4 or will there be a repeat winner?
As much as I hate to say it, the Bulls are going to be repeat champions this year. If there was going to be a fourth team to be crowned champs, my money would be on the T-Wolves.
3- A way too early look ahead to S-5, who will be the team to beat in the East next season based on current roster construction?
RJ+Tatum+WCJ = dynasty. Not much more to say about that. If Bamba has a good TC it is over.
4- If you were starting a team today and you could pick one Vet player or a player in his 1st 3 yrs which way would you go? Who would be that player? and Why?
I would pick that player in his first 3 years at this moment. It will give you a longer runway and a lot of these new players are already legit. I've been told that PG and C run FBB and for that reason, I would be starting my new team with Cole Anthony running the show. But then again arguments for Giannis or AD would make a lot of sense too.
5- If you could trade teams with someone else who would you trade the Knicks for and why?
The Clippers. I know they aren't the best team right now, but they have a lot of exciting young guys who are good right now. Melo, Culver, Childs, Moore, Vuc, Middleton. That is a nice mix. If only he could move some of those futures he owns and a nice young wing for a Stud Veteran All-NBA Point Guard.

6- Who are you and what makes you get out of bed in the morning?
I am a 23-year-old Finance Student from Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Right now I get out of bed to go work on a golf course over the summer. My second favorite sport right behind Basketball. When I'm not in classes or at work I am either playing ball or coaching it. Just came off my first city championship at the Junior Varsity level as a coach. If I end up having free time outside of those things it is filled with my girlfriend, friends, music festivals, the gym or a little Netflix (Billions, The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Letterkenny to name a few)
7- Steak, Chicken or Seafood, and your favorite dish in each?
Steak reigns king here and nothing beats a nice full Medium Rare New York with a side of fries.
Chicken is next and I would choose a nice smoked chicken with roasted baby potatoes.
I love me some seafood and really any kind. But a cedar plank Halibut with lemon is by far my favorite.
8- A good Movie, a Dinner date or a Sporting Event and why?
A sporting event by far. Here in Edmonton, I am deprived of my favorite sports. Never played Hockey and the NHL is king here, unfortunately. I would love to see a PGA tour event or catch an NBA game regularly. However, I will have to settle to watch the Edmonton Oilers be disappointing year after year. Don't get me wrong I love me a good movie or taking the lady out for some good food and craft beers but nothing will ever beat the atmosphere of live sports.
9- What CD is on your CD player in your car right now?
CD Player??? I haven't had a CD player for so long the last CD it was Billy Talent II. My Spotify is filled with some classics like Queen, Rise Against or Billy Talent. But 90% is filled with Electronic Dance Music from every genre you could think of. Anything that has a good beat and can get my dancing is on there.
10- You can take a Vacation, paid in full, to anywhere on Earth where do you go and why?
WOW so many places to visit. I would have to say Boom Belgium to visit the Tomorrowland Music Festival. But hey I am already doing that next year! Purely based on scenery and not an event I would choose Hawaii, never been and I love that weather and being in the water. Really couldn't think of a better place to be.
