Here we are with one of the Sim League legendary GM's Cold
1- Are you happy with the way things have gone thru S-4 for your team? What would you have done different if you could? I'm pretty happy for the most part. Was able to make good use of some future assets such as picks etc to grab Myles Turner who was a big part of my teams turnaround. Also acquired Julius Randle and Jerami Grant who have played pivotal roles in the short time they have been in Orlando. To go along with Cole Anthony's continuing maturation, feels good going from worst to first in my division. The only thing is I might have wanted to tinker with my DC a bit more as I feel I might not of gotten the most out of my team.
2- Draft incoming, do you focus on Need or Best Player available this time around? If the choice is between a starter ready player like Wendell (last yr LAC pick) or a High Pot 18 yr old with a decent base which way do you lean? All depends on team situation. With how my team is, might allow me the flexibility to go with a raw boom or bust guy who I can stash in the d-league and grow to eventually help my team
3- Playoffs fast approaching who is your Sleeper team in each Conference? In the East, I may go with the Bucks. They started really turning the corner in the 2nd half of the year. If they can get the right settings around MVP Giannis, they could do some damage. Looks likely they will make at least the 2nd round and if things fall their way, who knows? As for the West, not sure how much of a darkhorse but I like the Clippers. They were kind of struggling in comparison to how many of us thought they would do this season but they are going into the playoffs on fire. Looks like they have righted the ship just in time.
4- Anyone on your team get snubbed for the ASG? Of course, Cole Anthony was the biggest snub IMO of the weekend. Especially since it was turnover machine Morant who got in over him.
Ok enough Sim talk, lets get to know Cold
5. How Cold come about? Well back when I set my first e-mail I ever had, back in the late 90s I came up with Coldrocc which was a combo of the two best entertainers back in the WWF, Stone Cold and Rock. So then ColdJ just was a variation of that, only with J as thats my middle initial.
6. Its Saturday night, no Sim, no TV is Cold going out, staying home? Where is Cold hanging? Depends how I'm feeling but usually going out. I like to hit up a number of bars, love getting drunk and doing karaoke with friends as well. Theres a really good sushi karaoke bar thats one of my favorite places to go to. Good food, drinks and entertainment. Not much else to ask for
8. What motivates you? I would say friends and family. The people in my inner circle
9. Favorite Sports and Team/s? Football and Basketball, Oakland Raiders and Sacramento Kings. Yes, I am loyal to a fault lol
10. Godfather comes to visit you where we going? What we doing? We could do a slew of things. Strip club, hookah lounge, karaoke bar. Always something to do
