11. Devin Harris PG (18) C C+ C C+ C- A
A teen with double boost potential and 2nd highest Pot in Draft that plays the premier position in the league could go anywhere, but i have him as #11 for a couple reasons. One Donkey almost always stays close to real life builds and Harris was OK, just ok there and Two he is a lot more RAW than TP last years #2.. and yes about 9 spots worst gamble wise. I see Harris as a decent starting PG with proper development and someone that can compliment a team with a Star SG and Star SF.. like the Heat. Hanks Grade 162
12, Mo Williams PG (18) C C+C C C- A
Another teen, another PG. I like Mo a lot, his overall offensive game is superior to Devin's with a very fringy inside game that is much stronger. He is more raw and less disciplined, but I see Mo > Devin if everything goes right. Devin is the safer pick though. Hanks Grade 194
13, Matt Bonner C (21) C+ B D C C B
I Hate Hate this guys built as a Center. As a Center he is not allowed to start at SF which is where his build suggests he would fit best. He is too talented NOT to draft somewhere in this range however, with the 2nd highest Hank score. I see a versatile 5-4-3 backup 6th man. But I cant buy into the idea of him being a starter. Hanks Grade 84
14. Mehmet Okur C 6-11 249 (22) C+ B- D C+ C B
Another Center with a build I dont care for....BUT Okur does bring a better Def/Reb profile to the table and I feel there is some starting ability as a 4 here. I like Okur's chances as a potential 6th man of the year early on with a chance to start by his 3rd season as long as the drafting GM puts some effort into developing his game. Hanks Grade 112
15. Jose Calderon PG (20)6-3" 200 C B C C+ C- B
And yet another PG option here. Calderon comes in as a very productive outside shooter capable of scoring at will. He is also a + defender at the PG spot, which are not easy to find. I see Calderon as a potential starter early in his career, with a fallback as a bench 1-2 backup with a spark off the bench. Should be a safe, productive pick. Hanks Grade 101
16. Tomislav Ruzic PF (22)6-9" 238 B- B- D- C+ C C
And there he is Hank's #1 score guy in this draft. Ruzic is a plug and play type already blessed with an efficient inside/out game and defense. As a PF capable of playing the 3 well from the get go Ruzic offers the flexibility Okur and Bonner dont. Ruzic (like Kandi) is a low pot guy, but we've seen this type (again like Kandi) go +3 to +5 over their 1st 3 or so TC's and become very solid contributors to their teams. Ruzic with a DLG + 2 S & L and coaching could be a steal here as his base is insane already any improvement on it can easily make Ruzic a top offensive minded BIG or 3. Proper coaching can make Ruzic one of the best values in this draft, especially if he is around at #16. Hanks Grade 64
17. Marquis Daniels SF (20) 6-6" 200 C+ C+ C- B- C B
I like Daniels a lot. He has a little Pot, a balance offensive game screaming to be developed and comes into the league as a very solid rookie defender at a position where defense is scarce. One can argue Daniels should go higher, but i like him as a falling prospect that fits right around this spot on Draft night. Daniels comes in with a solid Hank grade as well. Hanks GRade 135
18, Larry Hughes SG (20)6-5" 184 C+ C+ C B C- B
Buyer beware, Hughes will be a polorizing pick on draft day and could go anywhere from 7th to 20th+ If he were a teen he would be top 10. However we dont see the volume warranted for such a lofty placement. We see limitations to his "facilitator" role at the 1 and a volume issue at the 2. He does come in as one of the elite defenders in this class which is a plus. TO's could be a problem though and we see Hughes at his very best as Doug Christie 2.0 but thats if the stars align. We see solid gamble/value at this point though in the draft. Hanks Grade 98
19. Beno Urich PG (19) 6-4" 205 C+ C+ C C+ C- B
I think we can have a "Steal" in Beno. His built is solid and he has the ability (when all is said and done) to be this class #1 PG. I like Beno a lot here. A GM with good patience and the ability to stash Beno on the DLG and develop him properly could end up with a phenomenal bargain at this point of the draft. Hanks Grade 141
20, Peter Popovic C (22) 6-11" 244 B C- D- C+ C C
Like many before him low pot costs Peter a few spots in the draft. What you have here is the best inside scorer in the draft with a solid grade and a future double/double machine if his rebounding is coached properly. A 6th man of the yr candidate from day one Peter will be a solid add to any team. and a potential "Steal of the Draft" candidate at 20. Hanks Grade 135
