Breaking away from the traditional year-round survey; this season, General Managers across the league voted on the topics pertaining to the 12 seasons following the now infamous switch from the, 'NBA' to the the, 'BS League'.

Questions included:

The best title team of the last 12 years was?
Best MVP over the last 12 years was?
Who were the five most important players over the last 12 years?
Best player and season in which a player was not awarded the MVP?
Best team not to not win a title?
Best trade of the last 12 years?

We had 18 GMs contribute, a measly and sad turnout for such a fun event. Especially considering how easy it was to cash on 6M here.

The best title team of the last 12 years was?

2025 Chicago Bulls:

70-12, +17 differential.

The Bulls went 16-5 in the post-season besting the Hornets, Hawks, Pacers, and Suns on their way to the franchises' third title post-Jordan.

Steven Adams - Wendell Carter Jr. - Jayson Tatum - Spencer Dinwiddie - R.J. Barrett (Playoff MVP) was the starting lineup. Sixth man Montrezl Harrell stepped up big when Adams got hurt in the playoffs.

*Other teams getting at least one vote: 2023 Clippers, 2020 Pelicans, 2030 Bulls, 2029 Wizards.

The best MVP over the last 12 years was?

2030 R.J. Barrett

36.6 PPG, 7.4 RPG, 4.3 APG and insane splits of: 51-89-47.

Barrett pushed the 2030 Bulls back to greatness, helping them win 68 games.

Alongside star running-mate Tyrese Maxey, Barrett would push the Bulls to their fourth title of the last 12 years.

*Other MVPs receiving at least one vote: 2026 R.J. Barrett, 2028 Cole Anthony, 2025 R.J. Barrett, 2029 Skylar Mays, 2020 James Harden, 2019 Anthony Davis, 2027 Cole Anthony

Who were the five most important players of the last 12 years?

R.J. Barrett
who was the only unanimous selection.

Giannis Antetokounmpo who only had two people not vote for him.

Anthony Davis who was three votes off of unanimous.

Cole Anthony and Tyrese Maxey wrap the list with 13 votes each.

*Other players getting multiple votes: Jayson Tatum, Bradley Beal, Wendell Carter Jr., Deandre Ayton, and Nikola Jokic.

Best player to not win the MVP?

Tyrese Maxey 2027 -- New York Knicks

Maxey wins this poll in a landslide. 25 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 9.5 APG, 2.6 SPG, 49-81-42 splits.

The Knicks wouldn't win until the next year but Maxey changed the franchises direction, being the first Knick to win the MVP award since Willis Reed in 1970. Though Maxey has turned in a decade of excellence, winning titles and Chicago and New York -- the MVP award has eluded him. Maybe that this changes this season.

*Other players getting at least a vote: Bradley Beal, Coby White (2024), Maxey (2028, 2030), Jayson Tatum (2025, 2028, 2029), Kyrie Irving.

Best team not to win a title?

We have a tie: 2026 Denver Nuggets and 2030 Washington Wizards.

The 2026 Nuggets won 62 games, had an 11.4 differential, rocking a ridiculous eight man rotation that included Antetokounmpo, Mays, Nikos Arsenpoulos, Bam Adebayo, Jusuf Nurkic, Paul George, Simi Shittu and Devin Askew.

The 2030 Wizards were in the second straight year of being totally fucking ridiculous. They had a 13.4 differential and a 68 win season behind a lineup of Brandon Clarke, Carter Jr. Federico Aguerre, Anthony, and Allen Iverson. The year prior, the Bulls lost Maxey for the series everybody wanted to see, but in 2030 the Wizards lost Anthony for the rematch. A shame there was never a healthy matchup.

Other teams to get multiple votes: 2026 Bulls, 2020 Celtics, 2029 Suns.

Best trade of the file?

Pelicans trade Jayson Tatum to Bulls for Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton.

*Other trades getting multiple votes: Anthony Davis to Wizards, Cole Anthony to Wizards, Maxey to Knicks, and Nash to Bulls.
