Assembled an ELITE team of GMs to run a quick mock draft of the 2017 NBA Draft before we just into the fun later tonight. Snake draft with Hooper, Jason, Beats, and myself.

#1 - San Antonio Spurs: Luka Doncic

One of the easiest #1 overall picks in awhile. The best player in this draft class is also the easy best player in real life. Legit franchise player for a Spurs team pressing restart. Spurs select...Jaylen Brown (Luka Doncic) -- Hooper

#2 - Indiana Pacers: Trae Young

Trae Young to Indiana. This is taking a chance on the 2nd highest pot in the draft. Also has a boost chance. Real nice starting attributes also. De'Aaron Fox already on the roster could deter him away, but Trae is real nice -- Jason

#3 - Milwaukee Bucks: DeAndre Ayton

There is a strong argument to be made that Ayton should be the #2 player selected from this class, as he looks to have the chance to be an elite post player. I like Ayton's ceiling the most here of the remaining picks, so this is kind of a no-brainer for me personally. It's a perfect fit with the Buck's current roster. -- Brooks

#4 - Atlanta Hawks: Jaylen Brown

May not be the teen for the pot jump potential but hes 4th in potential and the top pot left on the board along with the 3rd best inside rating which could make him an interesting scoring option at SF. In my opinion he is not the best pick left on the board but drafting for the Hawks who already have two young guards in Booker and Russell, and one young big with Adebayo, the team could definitely use a solid Forward spec to even out the lineup. -- Beats

#5 - New Jersey Nets: Donovan Mitchell

Best pick available here with Donovan being 7th inside and 1st Outisde he has a lot of potential to be a volume scorer. Hopefully donks make him correctly with more handles than passing as he was a pretty low TO guy in college. Not sure the exact plan of Nets future but they could use a few more tank seasons and donovan is a solid start to that. -- Beats

#6 - Utah Jazz: Jarrett Allen

I both feel like I'm getting a steal and making a massive reach with this pick. He isn't going to shoot FTs well, but Allen should be able to come in an act as a nice running mate to Embiid in the post in Utah. If he happens to boost, the Jazz would have a terrifiying combo on their hands. My fear here is that he takes the Gobert/Bam route of development and turns into a bench scrub. -- Brooks

#7 - Houston Rockets To Bullets: Miles Bridges

Teen wing with really good starting out scoring traits. Boost chance as well. Lowish starting pot, but the positive starting traits and boost potential makes him a fun pick at wing -- Jason

#8 - Golden State Warriors: De'Andre Hunter

Huge drop off after Bridges but Hunter fills a need at PF for the Warriors as a team with A pot and solid starting ratings. At worst, Hunter is projecting as a solid defensive wing with some upside scoring who can be your fifth starter down the line, or a nice swing SF/PF off the bench. -- Hooper

#9 - Portland Trail Blazers To Bullets: Colin Sexton

No real reason for the Bullets to not swing for the fences. Sexton has a very low floor but extremely high ceiling as a scoring PG with the opportunity to double pot boost. Have a feeling the Bullets will move one (if not both) of their top 10 picks in a consolidation effort, but if not, why not try to add a franchise swinging scoring guard to the mix and see if he pops? -- Hooper

#10 - Detroit Pistons: Payton Pritchard

Playing for pot here and boost potential. Not great starting traits but playing the pot boost game with the teen at PG. -- Jason

#11 - Los Angeles Clippers: Noah Vonleh

We're transitioning past the a lot of the boost-able players (there are a couple left), and I feel confident doing so when selecting for the clippers. They are kind of in no-man's land presently, which a significant number of aging players who aren't actively being shopping around. With this pick, I swing for a post player who may be able to contribute within 1-2 seasons due to the strong starting base and high potential. Could have gone a few other routes here, but I could see Vonleh turning into a solid scorer down low. -- Brooks

#12 - Philadelphia 76ers To Clippers: Malik Monk

Not sure if this is exactly a Donkey pick here but imo best pick available with him being a teen and 5th in pot he has the chance to really blow up. And donks is unpredictable sometime but yeah this is strictly an upside choice here. -- Beats

#13 - Charlotte Hornets To Rockets: Gary Harris

One of the older players in the draft at 23 and not a ton of pot being ranked 44th in it but already great base ratings of C+ B C B C-. A solid piece for the rockets to add to the roster and more win now ready if they are looking to continue pushing with PG and Harden. -- Beats

#14 - Seattle SuperSonics: Jevon Carter

While Carter is 22 years old, he looks like he'll be ready to come into the league and contribute to the Sonic's team from Day 1. Carter is the best defender and 5th best shooter in the class -- there is a chance he comes in with high enough handles to turn into an effective, lockdown two-way combo guard. Just have to hope the potential is not that detrimental. -- Brooks

#15 - Denver Nuggets: Kyle Kuzma

Nuggets have a lot going on, a lot of guards and a lot of bigs also. Only 1 player on the roster at SF, But they obvi fill it with other guys. Kuz has the 2nd best pot remaining here if I'm not mistaken, and can give good scoring to start his career. Little bit on the old side, but his pot is still high enough that he's a good pick at 15. -- Jason

#16 - Toronto Raptors To Pistons: Christian Wood

Don't think you should be drafting by need at this point in the draft as much as just making sure you get a get who can stick and earn a roster spot. Wood is fringe in both scoring ratings and pot, along with being a top 5 rebounder in the class. He's raw defensively and a risk to have the handle plague, but still a solid spec. -- Hooper

#17 - Dallas Mavericks To Spurs: Kristaps Porzingis

Depending on the direction the Spurs take this offseason, they can be in for a long tank or a short rebuild and flip back into contention of a decimated western conference. KP is ready to contribute now as an elite B B scorer coming out of the draft, but should also hold some trade value to contenders if the Spurs get their 2018 first back from the dastardly Bucks and decide to build for another year or two. -- Hooper

The rest is up to your imagination <3
